Saving Just One More

While walking on the beach one day, I saw a Starfish by the shore. And everywhere I looked it seemed, I saw a thousand more. Then what to my surprise appeared? A boy of nine or ten. And as the Starfish washed ashore, he threw them back again.

“One fish won’t make a difference son; You can’t change this situation.” He stooped and picked up one more fish, then looking right at me, “I can make a difference for this one, sir” and returned it to the sea.

So I went and gathered all my friends, my brothers and my cousins. We joined in with that little boy and saved Starfish by the dozens.” There are still many to be rescued – many “Starfish” on life’s shore. And you can make a difference too…by saving just one more.”

Little Missy is a 5.5 month old, black/white beautiful and very, very sweet, little girl, with a very kittenish meow! She is just a baby! She and 5 others were left behind at a condo complex in Trabuco Canyon, by her supposed family. They were all abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Fortunately, many neighbors pitched in to help these little beings. Missy is very friendly, however, but can be a little shy until she gets to know someone. She warms up, and before long, she is letting people pet her and you might just find her rolling around on the ground upside down! She is pure lovebug and when you get to know her, you’ll want to kiss her all day and night! When we got Missy to the vet, we learned she was pregnant and very, very early in the pregnancy. We had her spayed, tested for Felv and FIV which turned out to be negative and she also had comprehensive blood work done and all is good! She is a healthy little girl and is now looking for her long term foster or permanent forever home. The person who is fostering her now has kitties of her own and needs help with fostering long term (depending on how long it takes to adopt).

Lester is about 2 years old. He is a gray/white boy with the most adorable personality! His nose is 3/4 gray and that adds to his already endearing personality. He likes to talk and sometimes does so very loudly. He just wants to make sure you hear him. He is also part of the 5 kitties that were abandoned. He warms up very quickly and he LOVES attention. We also took him to the vet and he tested negative for Felv and FIV and he also had comprehensive blood work done and all is good with him, too! He has been neutered, as well. Lester is asking for a long term foster home, but, preferably a forever home.

Lester and Missy are best friends and want to stay together if possible.
