VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Contact us about volunteering for any of the following:
Canine Literacy (PAWS Read) – a project to help disadvantaged grade school children improve their reading skills and to nurture reading in their lives.
Kindness Kids Program volunteers and their pets visit classrooms to teach the values of kindness, compassion and respect for all living creatures.
PAWS (Pets are Wonderful Support) – Pet assisted therapy volunteers and their dogs visit nursing homes, hospitals, and children’s homes. Volunteer training and pet evaluation required. Contact us for next scheduled volunteer orientation. After completing probation, PAWS volunteer/pet teams may also participate in other programs.
Friends of the Orange County SPCA. Help coordinate and work our booth at pet shows, shelter events, and community fairs.
